REDBOX DONATION DRIVE
Health is undoubtedly the biggest wealth. The world recently suffering from a deadly corona wave only reiterates this fact. In the initial phase of Corona where everything was vague the only thing that helped people through the deadliest of times was the spirit to help others and it has only risen with time and Redbox understands that blood donation is the easiest yet the most noble way to give to other people. It is one of the many reasons that we began these office blood drives. The first drive took place in January, where our employers very enthusiastically donated for this cause.
Again this month we were approached for the blood drive by the Indus Hospital and the Health Network, and this time as well Redbox personnel and employers consented enthusiastically to donate for this mighty cause.
The Office's blood drive is another motivation for Redbox's endeavour. There can be no overestimation of the benefits of blood donation. Redbox knows, however, that our blood drive will help our employers to help them to cope with work stress and help them stay active at work. As well as how redbox can help the community at large.
One day prior to the real drive, Indus Hospital sent its official to inform employers of the drive and how the donation of a single employer might save at least three lives. Further in the briefing what kind of safety precautions are needed on the drive during Covid-19. They also told the employers during their briefing that they follow the standards from the WHO to conduct out driving and that to give blood it is necessary that they sleep properly.

The Indus staff arrived at our workplace the next day on the 8th of June to prepare their space for the blood drive. Drive consisted of two steps: The first phase was an evaluation of risk, in which the doctors' team ensured that donation volunteers were healthy enough to donate blood. In addition they investigated the employer’s past history, their exposure to all kinds of diseases as well as their previous travelling history.
Part two of the drive consisted of the evaluation of blood pressure, body temperature and the examination of the fears that the donor may have. In addition they investigated the past history, their past exposure to all kinds of diseases and their covetous screening.

The drive went very smoothly, our employers very enthusiastically connected with the team and donated the blood. Indus Hospital received a great response from our end as well and the employers have been quite delighted with the blood donation.
Redbox, wants to conduct such drives every three months as an office activity to benefit the community on a broader scale.
