The pandora papers have been on the news for a while now. As many as 35 current and past leaders have names listed on the papers. The names are many in total that include politicians, business persons, and many institutional officers.

In Pakistan many names from the Prime Minister’s office, Armed Forces’ relatives, business persons, other politicians, and media big shots. Many of the government financial backers and others named in the papers are also reported to hold millions of dollars in their offshore accounts

Read More: What are offshore companies? Are they illegal?

According to the reports, and based on my recent article, many laws support or don’t find anything wrong with setting up offshore companies - as long as they are legal and stated in their financial statements or their returns. Or else they may face severe legal actions.

So, what names were listed by the ICIJ, International consortium of investigative journalists

    • Politicians of Pakistan
    • Armed Forces
