    Gwadar Port will be Tax-Free for Exporters

    Chairman Senator Farooq H. Naek leaded the committee on Tuesday, 29th September, 2020 where he talked about the formation of green channels, tax exclusion and Gwadar port linking with Gulf countries and it was made functional for imports and exports last year in 2019. There will be no tax on goods exports, the finance Senate standing committee was notified.

    The chairman of FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) Mr. Javaid Ghani in conversation with the committee told them about the zero outgoing rate of tax on export of goods in Gwadar. For the success and growth of the district, one percent of the income tax is required. To improve the fares or export quality, no custom duty will be imposed on export as the Gwadar Free Zone Facility has given for this purpose.

    The master plan of Gwadar port city has been mapped from 2017 to 2050 clarifying the city distribution.


     


    Gwadar has made impressive progress in few years and will be an upcoming top class city reflecting the look of Dubai. Marine drive roads of Gwadar city has already grasped people’s attention. The Consulate General of China to Karachi Mr.Libijian congratulated public using Twitter on 13th July, 2020.

    The Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) has divided the city in different categories which defines the proper planning and the great execution of the strategies.

    Recently, few days back the Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed his wish to visit Gwadar next month. The continuous development is making the city more attractive to be live in.
